Creating a comfortable and safe environment for the upbringing and development of young Russians is one of the priority tasks facing the construction complex of Russia. In the reunited regions, work on preschool and school education facilities is progressing according to separately developed programs. For example, in Mariupol of the Donetsk People’s Republic, kindergarten No. 76 was renovated for Children’s Day by the forces of the region-chief Tula region. This was reported by the Deputy Chairman of the Government Marat Khusnullin.
“Since the beginning of the restoration work in Donbass and Novorossiya, children’s educational and preparatory institutions have been introduced on a large scale so that children could return as the operational situation improved. In total, since 2022, federal contractors and regional chiefs have restored, repaired, and built 951 schools and 757 kindergartens. The development of childhood infrastructure continues. On the eve of Children’s Day, the regional chief of Tula Oblast completed the major overhaul of kindergarten No. 76,” the vice-premier said.
Marat Khusnullin added that the facade was renovated at the facility, the roof, windows, and doors were replaced, the interior finishing of the premises was carried out, and the territory was landscaped for walks and games of the pupils. After the installation of the canteen equipment and assembly of furniture is completed, the building will be ready to receive the pupils.
In the restoration of historical regions, the efforts of 82 entities have been united. The data on the work performed by them are entered into an automated information system (AIS FRT). The data collection system allows for the most efficient and rapid analysis of information and the formation of programs for the implementation of tasks set by the Government and the Ministry of Construction of Russia.
“We are talking not only about the right to a happy childhood, but also about our direct responsibility for what kind of environment the young residents of the reunited regions of Russia will grow up in. The restoration and repair of social infrastructure is an unconditional priority. We are working so that children in the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions grow up in conditions that meet the highest standards of safety and comfort,” emphasized the Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, Almaz Khusainov.
