On the website of the International Tourism Forum “Travel!” a complete business program has been published with the schedule, names of speakers, and session descriptions. This year, more than 40 discussions will take place in various formats. The central event will be the plenary session “Time to Travel: Diversity of Travel Accessible to Everyone” with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko and Minister of Economic Development Maksim Reshetnikov.

The organizer of the international tourist forum “Travel!” is the “Roscongress” Foundation jointly with the Ministry of Economic Development with the support of the Government.

One of the central themes of the forum will be the implementation of the updated national project “Tourism and Hospitality,” which contributes to achieving the goals set by the President for the growth of tourism in Russia. “Among the main indicators are — the growth of the share of the tourism sector in the country’s GDP up to 5%, an increase in the number of tourist trips within the territory of the Russian Federation up to 140 million, and the volume of export of tourist services — up to 10.75 billion dollars. The business program of the forum is structured to help its participants find answers to solve current tasks – from standardization of services to the development of interregional cooperation and the search for new growth points. Its main blocks will be “Product”, “Infrastructure”, and “Promotion”.

“At the forum, we will present the results of the implementation of the national project “Tourism and Hospitality” over five years, show how it transforms regions, creates points of attraction, and how the infrastructure is changing. We have launched a large-scale investment cycle – supported the construction of 318 large hotels with 67 thousand rooms, provided concessional loans for the construction of 15 ski resorts and 22 water parks, 4 amusement parks, launched about 13 thousand rooms in modular hotels. The forum has become a platform for coordinating actions of authorities, business, and regions.Agreements are concluded here, partnerships are formed, decisions are made for practical cases. Specialists working in the industry learn about what employers need today, young people get information about internships, and someone can receive the first job offer. The business program is designed not only to show how infrastructure and service quality are changing, but also to teach regions how to competently form, package a tourist product and enter new markets, including international ones,” commented Minister of Economic Development Maksim Reshetnikov.

The “Product” block represents the central element of the system, defining the conceptual frameworks for discussion and development of managerial, investment, and communication solutions. Within its scope, key aspects of industry development and types of tourism are considered, including issues of the formation and updating of territorial identity.

The key session in this block will be the discussion “Tectonic shifts: how digital platforms are changing tourism.”Among the speakers of the thematic block are the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Tourism and Development of Tourism Infrastructure Sangadji Tarbaev, the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Kaliningrad Region Andrey Ermak, the Minister of Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage of the Krasnodar Territory Vasily Vorobyov, Russian theater actor and singer Anton Makarsky, singer and producer Viktoria Makarskaya, General Director of the magazine “Rest in Russia” Anton Semenov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the group of companies “Aeroclub” Denis Matyushin, founder and General Director of the chain of pet stores “Four Paws” Andrey Tsypin andother experts.
