In Nizhny Novgorod, the results of the final of the “Professionals” championship in the competencies of the creative industries and IT were summed up. More than 10 thousand people from 89 regions of Russia and 19 friendly countries became participants and guests of the large-scale event.
The final of the professional skills championship “Professionals” will be held at the distributed platform. The names of the first 36 winners and prize-winners in the main competition were announced in Nizhny Novgorod. In addition, winners and prize-winners were named in the international, industrial, and team competitions.
The holders of the gold, silver, and bronze medals of the “Professionals” championship final were congratulated by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
“The ‘Professionals’ movement, which we are developing as part of the national project ‘Youth and Children’ following the instructions of President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, gives young people the opportunity to demonstrate professional skills and take the first steps in building a successful career. It is important that over 10 thousand companies and enterprises support the participants of the ‘Professionals’ movement. They have already offered more than 50 thousand internships and job vacancies to the contestants. I congratulate the winners and prize-winners of the final in the creative industries and IT competencies and thank the mentors for their contribution to the development of the young people!” said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
In 2026, the final of the “Professionals” championship will take place in three cities: in Nizhny Novgorod in May, the final for the blocks of competencies “creative industries and IT” was held; in Kaluga in August, the final for the competencies of the block “industry” will be held; in Saint Petersburg in November–December, the final for the blocks of competencies “education”, “service”, “manufacturing”, “medicine”, “construction”, and “engineering technologies” will take place.
Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov emphasized that the championship works as a powerful social elevator. 99 companies participated as partners in the final in Nizhny Novgorod.
“Participation in the competition opens up real career prospects for the guys. Winners, prize-winners, and their mentors await substantial awards from the Government of Russia. Moreover, the guys automatically receive an “excellent” grade for the demonstration exam if the competition competence matches their profile of study in college. But most importantly, the finals of the “Professionals” championship is a unique environment where education, industry, and the students themselves meet.””In such an atmosphere, technologies integrate faster into the educational process, and the students learn to solve problems as closely as possible to real production,” said Sergey Kravtsov.
The final of the “Professionals” championship in the competencies of the creative industries and IT was held in Nizhny Novgorod for the second year in a row. The governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, noted the high level of skill of the contestants.

The venue for the key events of the finale was the Federal Technopark of Professional Education.
Participants from friendly countries highly appreciated the level and complexity of the tasks in the “Professionals” championship final, as well as their applied character for the industry. Traditionally, the largest number of foreign participants represented the People’s Republic of China, as well as the Republics of Kazakhstan and Belarus.
The “Professionals” Championship is the largest competition in professional skills within the SPO system; the list of competencies is formed in accordance with the demands of the real economic sector.
The “Professionals” movement is aimed at supporting talented youth, strengthening the personnel potential, and ensuring technological leadership of Russia. It is organized with the support of the Ministry of Education of Russia and is implemented within the framework of the federal project “Professionalism” of the national project “Youth and Children.” The federal operator is the Institute for the Development of Professional Education.
