On May 30, new routes of the “Moscow — Region” project will open. One of them will connect the “Khovrino” metro station with the Podrezkovo microdistrict of the city of Khimki, and two others — the “Altufyevo” metro station with the city of Dolgoprudny and the village of Troitskoye.
The “Moscow — region” project is an example of integrating routes into a unified transport system of the largest agglomeration in our country. By order of Sergey Sobyanin, since the middle of last year we have been opening bus routes that connect the nearest Moscow region with metro stations inside the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD). Thanks to the project, daily trips to the capital and back become more comfortable, and the schedule is predictable. On May 30, we will open three more routes, and their total number will reach 42.”12 modern buses of Russian manufacture, equipped according to the high standards of Moscow transport,” will be put on the route,
New routes
Modern buses will operate on the route: one mid-sized bus on route № 1465, two large buses on route № 1302, and nine large buses on route № 1572.
On route No. 1465, passage throughTroika cardwill cost 84 rubles, and when paying by bank card — 89 rubles.
Routes No. 1302 and 1572 will have zonal tariffing. This means that the card must be applied both at boarding and at alighting. The final cost of the trip will depend on the distance.
On route No. 1302, travel using the “Troika” card will cost from 71 to 110 rubles, and when paying by bank card — from 76 to 115 rubles.
Route No. 1572 is circular, so passengers are not required to get off the bus at the intermediate terminal stop “Gribki” in Dolgoprudny — you can travel back to the metro station “Altufyevo.” The maximum fare is calculated for a full circle: “Metro ‘Altufyevo'” — “Gribki” — “Metro ‘Altufyevo’.” Therefore, it is not necessary to show your card when getting off. This will help avoid being charged the maximum fare.
The cost of travel on route No. 1572 to the “Gribki” stop in Dolgoprudny will be 100 rubles with the “Troika” card and 105 rubles when paying by bank card. The maximum cost of travel on the full route No. 1572 is 146 rubles with the “Troika” card and 151 rubles when paying by bank card.
The following opportunities are provided to passengers on the “Moscow – Oblast” project route:
— unlimited travel with the “Unified” subscription for the “Suburban” zone for 30, 90, or 365 days. With it, trips are up to 60 percent cheaper per year, and free transfers are also available on all Moscow city transport;
— unlimited “Unified” subscription of the “Suburban” zone for 30 and 90 days using the Moskvich card for students;
— free travel on the Muscovite card and for residents of the Moscow region for privileged categories of citizens analogous to the city routes of the capital;
— free travel on all adjacent routes of Moscow (between Moscow and the Moscow region) for privileged categories of citizens of the Moscow region, persons up to 60 years old with the right to free travel on regional routes. If the social card of a resident of the Moscow region does not work on the bus, it is necessary to contactPublic Services Centeron the territory of the Moscow region for its recoding.
Discounts when transferring to the metro and other routes when paying for single trips with the “Troika” card under the “Wallet” tariff, as well as with a bank card, are not provided. Passengers are advised to use the payment methods indicated above to make the trips and transfers to other transport more profitable. In addition, it is worth noting that it will not be possible to travel with the “Strelka” card.
More than 70 new NEFAZ-5299 buses have arrived at Mosgortrans depots
Modern buses
Modern large-capacity buses NEFAZ-5299-40-52 will operate on routes No. 1302 and 1572. Earlier, the vehicle successfully proved itself on the city route. Already about two thousand such vehicles are operating in the park of GUP “Mosgortrans”.
Among the advantages of the NEFAZ-5299-40-52 buses are 31 seats, passenger capacity of up to 109 people, a fully low-floor cabin equipped with a modern climate control system and adaptive lighting, a folding apparatus, and a space for passengers with limited mobility. Passengers can enter and exit the cabin through any door. The vehicles also feature media panels and USB ports for charging gadgets.
A total of 233 vehicles of this model will be delivered to the GAP “Mosgortrans” parks for operation on suburban routes this year.
By agreement between the governments of Moscow and the Moscow Region, in 2026, more than 50 active suburban routes in the western, northwestern, northern, and northeastern directions are planned to be included in the Moscow transport system.
Overall, by 2028, about a third of the currently operating suburban ground public transport routes will be integrated into the Moscow transport system. As a result, Moscow transport standards, already familiar to the capital’s residents, will be introduced on them: predictable bus intervals, convenient schedules, modern vehicle fleets, and professional drivers.
In addition to improving the comfort of transportation, the opening of new adjacent interregional routes will give an additional impetus to the development of transport infrastructure in the Moscow region, including the installation of modern stop pavilions, the arrangement of dedicated lanes, the creation of new and reconstruction of existing transportation hubs, and increasing the frequency of use of various types of urban transport for daily trips from the Moscow suburbs to Moscow and back. The released rolling stock of the regional carrier will be redirected to strengthen routes serving the territory of the Moscow suburbs to stationsMoscow central diameters.
In accordance with the goals of the national project“Infrastructure for Life”In Moscow, great attention is paid to the modernization of social and communal infrastructure, including increasing the number of convenient urban transport routes and updating the rolling stock.
