In various districts of the capital within the framework of the project“Summer in Moscow”From June 1, they will start workingpoolUnder the open sky — a convenient form of recreation for the whole family on hot days. They have become an alternative to country trips.
“This year, city residents will be able to relax without leaving the city limits. In Moscow, 14 swimming zones will open in urban parks. These places will be equipped with everything necessary for comfortable leisure and infrastructure — from sun loungers with umbrellas to changing cabins. Guests will have training sessions and entertainment programs by the water,” said the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Capital’s Department of Culture.
In the park and on the site “Moscow Seasons”
In Moscow, from June 1, 19 swimming zones will open. Seven of them are located in six parks under the jurisdiction of the capital city.Department of Culture: in the landscape park “Mitino”, “Khodynskoe Pole” park, “Serebryany Bor”, “Sokolniki”, 50th Anniversary of October, as well as in the Pioneer Pond in Gorky Park.
Pools will also open at the 12 festival venues of “Moscow Seasons” in the districts:
— Yuzhnoye Medvedkovo (intersection of Molodtsova and Susonskaya streets);
— Veshnyaki (Veshnyakovskaya Street, house 16);
— Golyanovo (square near the Golyanovsky pond);
— Sviblovo (Serebryakova passage, opposite property 14, building 23);
— Nekrasovka (square near the Nekrasovka metro station);
— Maryino (Pererva Street, property 52);
— Brateyevo (Key street, property 22 — near the Alma-Atinskaya metro station);
— Teply Stan (Teply Stan street, property 1b);
— Troparyovo-Nikulino (Michurinsky Avenue, Olympic Village, property 4);
— Kurkino (intersection of Sokolovo-Meshcherskaya and Yurovskaya streets);
— Koptevo (Koptevsky Boulevard, property 18 — Brigantina Park);
— Kryukovo (the boulevard area of the 16th microdistrict).
Summer vacation with music
For the convenience of city residents, sun loungers, umbrellas, showers, changing cabins, toilets, and lockers are provided at the recreation areas — use of this infrastructure is included in the ticket price.
The water will be heated throughout the entire season, with its temperature maintained at 26–28 degrees regardless of the weather. Some areas have been equipped with additional children’s pools, where the water is warmer than in the adult pools and will be kept at 30–32 degrees. In addition, towel rental stations and bars with drinks and food will be opened. The atmosphere of summer recreation will be complemented by training sessions and entertainment programs held by the water, as well as music.
All pools are equipped with a multi-stage filtration system, which ensures comfortable and safe swimming. The water undergoes constant laboratory control, and after each session, technical maintenance is carried out. Visitors’ safety is monitored by lifeguards, medical staff, and site administrators.
Pool visits are organized by sessions. On weekdays, the first session lasts 1.5 hours, from 9:00 to 10:30, followed by three sessions lasting three hours each — from 11:00 to 14:00, from 14:30 to 17:30, and from 18:00 to 21:00. On weekends, sessions lasting 1.5 and three hours are also provided. Tickets for pool sessions at the festival site and in most parks can be purchased through the service“Mosbilet”.
“Summer in Moscow” — the main event of the season, which has already become a good tradition and an integral part of the life of the capital. The theme of this year is “Time to be together.” The project unites people of different generations around common values, allowing them to become closer not only with their loved ones, but also with the whole city during walks, cultural and sports events, charity actions, and also right next to their home in all districts of the capital.
