Financial News: Inflation Expectations of the Population in May Remained Almost Unchanged

In May 2026, according to a survey by LLC “INFO M”, the inflation rate that citizens expect in a year was 13.0% after 12.9% in April.

Overall, inflation expectations among the population remain elevated. The consumer sentiment index, which reflects current assessments and expectations of respondents regarding personal well-being, the economy, and the situation in the consumer market, has increased. Price expectations of enterprises have decreased.
