Rosneft held a large-scale corporate online chess tournament dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. The competition brought together colleagues from different parts of the country, contributing to the strengthening of friendly and cultural ties among employees of subsidiary companies.

Intellectual competitions organized within the framework of the sports and health movement “Energy of Life” took place in the two divisions.

In the amateur division, 69 teams competed for victory, while in the qualified division, where the holders of the Russian Chess Federation or FIDE ratings competed, there were 23 teams. Each team consisted of three people: two men and one woman.

As a result of intense competition, the winner in the amateur division was the team “Samaraneftegaz”, which demonstrated excellent strategic preparation. In the qualified division, the strongest were the athletes of “RN-PD Tomsk”, confirming their high level of play in competition with titled opponents.
