Beijing, May 25 /Xinhua/ — A member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, Cai Qi, stated on Monday that the Chinese side is ready to support close institutionalized inter-party exchanges with Serbia.
Tsai Ing-wen made this statement at a meeting with a delegation headed by the chairman of the Serbian Progressive Party, Miloš Vučević, which took place in Beijing.
He noted that in recent years under the leadership of the heads of the two states, China-Serbia relations have received significant development. The Chinese side, according to him, is ready to support close institutionalized inter-party exchanges with Serbia, jointly implement the important consensus reached by the heads of the two states, and continue to firmly support each other on issues concerning the key interests of the two countries and being the subject of their main concerns.
Zhai Qi added that China is ready to deepen the alignment of development strategies and practical cooperation with Serbia, strengthen communication and coordination in multilateral formats such as the UN, and facilitate the continuous achievement of new results in building the China-Serbia community of shared destiny in a new era.
M. Vuchevich highly appreciated the development achieved by China under the leadership of the CPC. He expressed gratitude to China for its firm support of Serbia in protecting the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Serbian Progressive Party is ready to adopt the experience of the CPC in the field of public administration and further promote the development of relations between the two countries, he said. -0-
