Manila, May 25 /Xinhua/ — A Malaysian citizen who was trapped in an apartment hotel next to a collapsed building in the city of Angeles, Pampanga province in northern Philippines, has died. This was reported by local media on Sunday.

On Sunday early morning in the city of An Niles, a nine-story building under construction collapsed. 26 people were rescued, among them 24 were extracted from the rubble, and two more were saved from a nearby apart-hotel that was affected as a result of the incident. –0–
