Bishkek, May 23 /Xinhua/ — The volume of road construction in Kyrgyzstan this year has increased more than 4 times compared to 2025. This was reported on Saturday by the Kyrgyz national news agency Kabar, citing the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the republic.
As of May 20, 2026, a total of 243.1 km of roads have been asphalted across the entire country, while this indicator, recorded in the same period of 2025, amounted to 56.6 km. –0–
