The dance studio “Polydens” of the Student Club Politech continues to delight with brilliant results: the “Milagros” team in Latin solo under the guidance of coach Maria Dolgopolik twice won over judges and spectators.
At the “Dancing Capital” competition, in the nomination “Dances based on ballroom choreography,” the girls won gold. As the organizers noted, the performance was a real explosion of emotions: incredible temperament, impeccable technique and grace left neither the viewers nor the jury members indifferent, who gave the highest score to the performance.
Clear sound, well-arranged lighting, and a professional host — everything required for a high-class performance. It is precisely this combination that allows our team year after year to take gold at the Federation of Modern and Variety Dance Competitions in St. Petersburg, — says the team’s coach Maria Dolgopolik.
This same team presented the number “Night in Naples” at the “Star’T Dens Fest” competition in the nomination “Social Show — Emerging Adults” and took second place, strengthening its status as one of the brightest amateur teams in the city.
Competition with such energetic people, who get pleasure from dancing, is very inspiring and uplifting! The competition was serious, and I am proud that our team performed wonderfully. I hope that in the future we will win quite a few prizes together,
All participants of the “Milagros” group are students of the Saint Petersburg State University of Peter the Great, who have been successfully performing at all-Russian and city competitions and winning prizes for several years. The dancers are trained by Maria Dolgopolik — a graduate of IPMEIT SPbPU, coach of the “Polidens” studio since 2021, and a member of the Saint Petersburg Federation of Contemporary and Pop Dance.
