Bogotá, May 21 /Sina/ — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia announced on Wednesday that it has expelled the chargé d’affaires of Bolivia, Ariel Persi Molina Pimentel.

This was done as a response step after Bolivia asked the Colombian envoy to leave the country.

The ministry’s statement says that the decision was made in accordance with Article 9 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961 following Bolivia’s recent decision regarding the presence in that country of the envoy from Colombia, Elizabeth García. –0–
