Beijing, May 20 /Xinhua/ — Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Li Zhanshu and Russian President Vladimir Putin visited on Wednesday a photo exhibition dedicated to the friendship between the two countries, which is passed down from generation to generation.
Photo exhibition, jointly organized by the Chinese news agency Xinhua and the Russian news agency TASS, took place in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
While inspecting the exhibition, Xi Jinping and V. Putin joyfully recalled moments of friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in recent years.
The heads of two states noted that the great cause of Chinese-Russian friendship follows historical trends and the currents of time. This unbreakable friendship will certainly ensure stable and long-term development and boldly move forward, writing new bright pages in its history, they added. –0–
