The total investment volume for the project on the treatment of industrial wastewater and the reuse of circulating water in the Ordos High-Tech Industrial Development Zone amounts to 2.8 billion yuan.
As a key infrastructure provision for the modernization of the energy sector of the city of Ordos, this project primarily serves enterprises in the High-Tech Industrial Development Zone that impose high standards on water supply quality and require discharge of industrial wastewater, including the photovoltaic project of JaSolar company, cloud computing enterprises, and others. After construction completion, the project will be able to process about 72 thousand tons of water per day, equivalent to filling 36 standard swimming pools. This is the largest zero liquid discharge industrial wastewater project in the country by investment volume.At the same time, the capacity for treating photoelectrically contaminated wastewater is 37 thousand tons per day, which is also the largest indicator in the country.
