On Tuesday, May 19, at the “Belevtsy” airfield in the Krasnodar region, a test drive of the latest generation KAMAZ K5 vehicles took place.
The “Dynamic Demonstrations of KAMAZ Vehicles” promo events are held annually in major cities of Russia. The purpose is to showcase to potential buyers the wide capabilities of the latest generation K5 KAMAZ automotive equipment. This format allows clients to personally verify the technological advancements of modern KAMAZ trucks and make a balanced decision about expanding their corporate vehicle fleets.
About 150 people received invitations to the test drive in the Krasnodar region. Among them were leaders of large companies already operating freight motor transport, representatives of leading transport and logistics enterprises of the region, and other consumers. The event program included a presentation by PJSC “KAMAZ”, where the design features and advantages of the latest generation K5 vehicles were presented. There was also an entertainment segment: thematic quizzes with memorable prizes and a spectacular extreme show.
As part of the promo campaign, the company provided the opportunity to test four high-tech K5 generation vehicles on the aerodrome territory: KAMAZ-54901 tractor trucks running on CNG coupled with a semi-trailer, and KAMAZ-54902 coupled with a flatbed semi-trailer grain carrier -588536, as well as KAMAZ-65951 and KAMAZ-6595 dump trucks. Participants of the event who had a driver’s license of category C and above were able to personally assess the advantages of the vehicles, the comfort of the cabin, and the equipment of the driver’s seat, driving the flagship model vehicles. The other guests could take part in rides as passengers.After the test drive, Krasnodar consumers noted the smoothness of the ride, noise insulation, and high level of ergonomics of the modern K5 cabins, including excellent visibility from the driver’s seat and intuitively understandable control of the onboard systems.
A truck exhibition relevant to the Krasnodar region ran simultaneously. Visitors were shown KAMAZ-54901 and KAMAZ-65659 tractor trucks, a truck with a crane on a KAMAZ-65658 chassis, a 653557 dump grain truck on a KAMAZ-65658 chassis, and another truck equipment.
