Hundreds of specialists and students from all over the country gathered at GUU for the 17th All-Russian Interuniversity Personnel Forum named after A.Ya.Kibanov “Innovative Personnel Management.”

The meeting was opened by Vice-Rector Dmitry Bryukhanov, who reminded about the history of the event.

“We are conducting this forum in GUE for the seventeenth time, and this is not accidental, since the first personnel management department under the leadership of Ardalion Kibanov was opened precisely at our university, and today GUE actively participates in the development of standards for the transformation of higher education. Such annual meetings help to discover new facets of management and look at personnel service issues from a new perspective,” noted Dmitry Bryukhanov.

More about the forum program was told by the head of the Department of Personnel Management at GUU, Rafik Ashurbekov.

“Today gathered here are those who love HR and are not afraid to experiment. Our department combines centuries-old traditions with innovations and modern technologies in training future professionals. And the theme of this year’s forum, ‘Alice in Wonderland,’ is meant once again to emphasize: in any world, even the most chaotic, it is possible to find your path if you have a reliable team and mentors.”

To create the atmosphere of Lewis Carroll’s work, the personnel management department prepared thematic decorations and costume elements that anyone could take to create a unique image. Even the participants’ badges were not simple but allowed the kids to try on the role of one of the characters from Alice’s fairy tale to the caterpillar, endowing them with unique abilities in the field of personnel management. The students themselves did not lag behind: teams from various universities presented their business cards in the style of “Alice in Wonderland,” transferring fantasy characters into the real world.

On the first day of the forum, participants attended the conference “From Crazy Tea Party to the Ideal Team: Unconventional Solutions in Personnel Management,” where leading experts from major companies shared their views on the labor market, as well as the thematic quest “Follow the White Rabbit,” which became the first stage of the student olympiad “Personnel Management: Time of Miracles.”

The second stage and the awarding of the winners of the Olympiad will take place on May 21, on the same day the project competition “Mirror of Changes: See. Understand. Manage” will begin, and there will be a training and methodological section on the issues of training specialists in the field of personnel management “The place of sociological disciplines in the specialist training program in the field of personnel management: searching for a new balance.”

On the final day of the forum, May 22, invited experts and representatives of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) evaluated the projects prepared by the competition participants and announced the winners of the 17th All-Russian Interuniversity Personnel Forum named after A.Ya. Kibanov “Innovative Personnel Management.”
