Beirut, May 18 /Sina/ — At least five people, including two children, were killed and 15 others wounded on Sunday when Israeli strikes intensified in southern Lebanon. This was reported by Lebanese sources.

According to the data from the Emergency Situations Center of the Ministry of Health of Lebanon, as a result of the Israeli strike on the city of Tayr Filsay, three people were killed, including a child, and eight more people, among them three children, were injured.

Two people were killed and three more wounded as a result of Israeli strikes on the village of Tayr Debba. According to the official Lebanese National Information Agency, several medical workers were among the wounded.

Two people were injured as a result of a strike on the settlement of Zraria, and two more were injured in a strike on the village of Djibchit, the center reported.

Repeated explosions shook the border city of Khiam. Israeli military aircraft also struck the city of Saida in eastern Lebanon twice. It is reported that Israeli reconnaissance drones flew at low altitude over Beirut and its suburbs.

In addition, the organization “Hezbollah” stated that it attacked an Israeli military vehicle and a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the Bayada area using kamikaze drones.
