At the bottom of the sports ground of the Experimental Primary School in the city of Chamdo in Sichuan, a third-grade student Dawa Drolma demonstrated the ability to control a robot dog using a remote control. She made the robot move forward, turn, and give a “paw.” However, compared to the robot dog, Dawa Drolma prefers to control drones because they allow her to see what is not visible to the human eye.

Tszy Chao, a teacher responsible for clubs on information technologies at the Experimental Primary School, said that currently the school offers many clubs based on interests, such as drone control, mechanical dogs, virtual robots, handball, glucofon, and Sicilian songs and dances. Classes are usually held after lessons or on weekends, and students can independently choose clubs according to their hobbies and physical condition.
