Beijing, May 14 /Xinhua/ — On Wednesday, a literary forum of the Taiwan Strait shores was held in Beijing, which gathered more than 60 cultural figures from both sides.
Writers and literary scholars from the continental part of China and Taiwan exchanged views on Chinese culture and the development of literature at a forum held within the framework of the Summit of Chinese Culture of the Taiwan Strait Shores in 2026.
Literature, as stated by the forum participants, represents a common spiritual center that connects compatriots living on both shores of the Taiwan Strait. Increased exchanges and the establishment of friendly relations will undoubtedly add more inspiration for creativity and allow the creation of even more outstanding works.
At the forum, there was a presentation of a book that tells how young people from Taiwan pursue their dreams in the continental part of China.
