Cairo, May 13 /Xin Hua/ — The presentation of the first volume of the book “On the State Governance of China in the Era of Xi Jinping” in Arabic took place on Wednesday in the capital of Egypt, Cairo.
The publication was presented by the CEO of the Xinhua News Agency, former Prime Minister of Egypt Essam Sharaf, the Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Liao Liqiang, and the Director General of the Islamic Cooperation News Agency, Muhammad bin Abd Rabbu al-Yami.
The event took place within the framework of the two-day Conference on China-Arab Partnership of the High-Level CMI Forum and Global South analytical centers, which opened on Tuesday and gathered around 250 representatives from approximately 110 mass media outlets, analytical centers, and government institutions of China and Arab countries, as well as international and regional organizations.
Speaking at the presentation, Fu Hua stated that with the advent of a new era, the Communist Party of China profoundly highlights the great practice and outstanding achievements of the CPC Chairman Xi Jinping in governing the state.
According to Fu Hua, a book titled “On the State Governance of China in the Era of Xi Jinping” was compiled and published based on materials from Xinhua. This book introduces the world to the “Chinese governance model” and the concepts behind it. As the general director pointed out, the Arabic translation of this book will open a new important window for the Arab world to observe China and to better understand it.
Xin Hua hopes to activate work together with analytical centers and media of Arab countries on research, interpretation, and coverage of important issues related to various aspects of governance, in order to share experience and lessons of national development and state building, bring more wisdom and strength to cohesive interaction and joint development of Global South countries, added Fu Hua.
The Chinese and foreign guests present at the presentation noted that the publication of the Arabic translation of the first volume of the book “On State Governance of China in the Era of Xi Jinping” gives the Arab world an important reader, helping to better understand Xi Jinping’s ideas on state governance and the success and development of China in the new era.
According to the source, the publication will contribute to strengthening mutual understanding and mutual trust between China and Arab countries, deepening the exchange of experience in public administration, consolidating consensus, and uniting forces to build a China-Arab community of shared destiny at a higher level.
At the event, Sin Hua also presented the analytical report “Achievements, Opportunities, and Prospects of China-Arab Cooperation in the New Era” and the publication “Decoding Popular Expressions of the Global South”.
