In the capital, full-scale hydraulic testing of heating networks has begun. These are being conducted as part of preparations for the autumn-winter period and the new heating season. In total, more than 19 thousand kilometers of networks are to be checked to ensure the readiness of communications and equipment.

For the conduction of hydraulic tests, planned hot water shutdowns will begin in the city from May 13. The maximum duration is up to 10 days according to the legislative norm of 14 days.

The organization of heating network testing is one of the main directions in preparation for the heating season. The main task is to identify potentially unreliable sections in advance and promptly restore them to ensure uninterrupted heat supply to consumers during the season. The majority of hydraulic tests are carried out by specialists from PJSC “Moscow United Energy Company” (MOEK) in the period from May to August inclusive, after the heating is turned off.

During the summer preventive maintenance work in the heat supply system, pipeline replacement is carried out using modern technologies, preventive and major repairs of thermal stations and central heating points, as well as maintenance and repair of in-house heating and hot water supply systems.

You can find out when the hot water in the house will be turned off using a special [tool]online serviceon the portal mos.ru.
