29-year-old Li Yuanlin was born in the city of Guigang, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. After graduating from Beibu Gulf University in 2020, he started his own business in the city of Qinzhou and dedicated himself to making handmade ceramic pitchers in the “Nisin” style, continuing the millennia-old tradition of this ceramic culture.

In 2023, Li Yuanlin established the Czitáoczúyi workshop, assembling a team of junior students who decided to engage in entrepreneurship. Currently, 20 people work in the workshop—mainly university graduates born in the 2000s. They combine the professional knowledge acquired at university with traditional methods of making Nisin ceramic products. The items they create are distinguished by fine finishing and successfully combine aesthetics with functionality.

Li Yuanlin said: “Starting your own business is not difficult. The hard part is firmly sticking to the chosen path. If you remain true to your original intentions, you will definitely succeed.”
