Beijing, May 11 /Xinhua/ — Chairman of the NPC Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump will conduct an in-depth exchange of views on key issues concerning relations between China and the United States, as well as peace and development worldwide, said official spokesperson of the NPCSC Go Ziyukun on Monday.
Go Ziyakun made this statement at another departmental press conference, responding to a question about the upcoming May 13-15 state visit of D. Trump to the PRC, which will be the first visit of an American president to China in the last nine years.
China is ready, together with the United States, to expand cooperation, control and manage disagreements, and bring more stability and confidence to an increasingly turbulent and changing world, guided by the principles of equality, respect, and mutual benefit, said the diplomat.
