On the eve of Victory Day, Rosneft presented new thematic routes for motorists in Veliky Novgorod and Arkhangelsk. They pass through memorable places of the Great Patriotic War.
The presentation took place at the Rosneft gas station complex in Veliky Novgorod and Arkhangelsk. During the event, gas station customers took part in a thematic quiz and a master class on creating a front pilot.
Rosneft actively supports initiatives for the development of domestic tourism and creates comfortable conditions for motorists. The development of roadside service and the improvement of the level of customer services provided at Rosneft gas stations is one of the priority areas of the Company’s activities.
The total length of the route through Veliky Novgorod, called the “Path of Memory,” is about 120 km. It combines 12 sites for visiting and passes through 9 Rosneft gas station complexes. It is assumed that the travel time will be up to 2 hours.
Following the route, auto tourists will be able to visit the stele “City of Military Glory”, the Hall of Military Glory of Veliky Novgorod, the Victory Monument, monuments to partisans and pilots, as well as memorial complexes in Myasny Bor and Chudovo, where fierce battles took place.
The length of the route “Arkhangelsk – city of military glory” is 25 km, the travel time is about 1 hour. It includes 10 attractions to visit and 4 Rosneft gas stations.
The unique route tells tourists about the contribution of Arkhangelsk residents to the overall Victory. Car enthusiasts will be able to see the monument to the northern fleet crews, the Victory Monument and the eternal flame, the monument to the participants of the northern convoys, as well as learn about the feats of Arkhangelsk residents during the Great Patriotic War in the local history museum “Arkhangelsk Gostinye Dvory.” The final point of the route is a picturesque observation deck with a view of the city and the Solombalsky sawmill plant, which played an important role in supplying the troops and the rear.
