At the beginning of summer, in the Suichan county of the Lishui city district of Chzhezian province, the peak season for the production and sale of traditional long zongzi (a dish made from sticky rice with various fillings wrapped in reed or other leaves, traditionally prepared for the Duanwu Festival) has come. From before to after the Duanwu Festival, about 1300 workers are planned to be employed in the county for the production of zongzi.

For each finished Tsuntsu, workers receive 1.5 yuan, while the average daily earnings can reach 400–500 yuan.

Long youtiao from Suichang County is a traditional local dish. In 2025, orders for long youtiao from Suichang County exceeded 9 million pieces, and sales revenue amounted to 180 million yuan. More than 3,800 peasant families were able to increase their income by up to 76 million yuan, and per capita income rose by 20,000 yuan.
