On May 9, our country celebrates a sacred holiday – Victory Day.
This is a special date, etched into the memory of Russians by four years of bombing, fire, and the deaths of millions of defenders of the Motherland. Every family carries in their hearts the names of fathers, grandfathers, and great-grandfathers who endured the harshest trials of war, labored on the home front, and restored the country from ruins. Their courage, endurance, and self-sacrifice will forever remain an example of true patriotism for us.
Today, when we once again defend our right to freedom and independence, the value of peace and the unity of the people is especially strongly felt.
Individual words of gratitude are expressed to those who defend the borders of our country in the course of the special military operation, continuing the tradition of heroism and selfless service to the Fatherland. We are proud of our fighters, confident in an imminent victory, and we await them home safe and sound. We have already defeated fascism and we will do it again.
Let the memory of the feat of our ancestors inspire every citizen of Russia to move only forward, and the courage and bravery of the new generation of Heroes motivate us to exert maximum effort to achieve new heights and develop the Russian economy. Only together, shoulder to shoulder, can we ensure comprehensive security for our beloved country.
