Brazil, May 8 /Xinhua/ — The Brazilian government announced on Thursday that starting from May 11, 2026, the country will introduce a visa-free entry regime for citizens of China holding valid ordinary passports.
According to the official Brazilian gazette, this measure is aimed at facilitating trips for the purposes of tourism, business, transit, or participation in cultural and sporting events.
The Brazilian government, guided by the principle of reciprocity, will cancel visa requirements for holders of ordinary passports of the People’s Republic of China for stays of up to 30 days without the right to extension.
