JSC “Bashneft” (a subsidiary of JSC “Rosneft”) took part in the ecological cleanup “Green Bashkiria – 2026” and the all-Russian project “SOS Forests.” The events were timed to coincide with Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. In memory of the immortal feat of the frontline soldiers and home-front workers, oil workers planted over 6,000 young trees in various districts of the republic.
The alleys laid on the eve of May 9 became a living reminder of those who defended peace and freedom. Two hundred employees of Bashneft enterprises took part in the greening. Joint efforts planted wartime forests on the territory of Kushnarenkovsky and Chishminsky districts of Bashkortostan, covering an area of 3 hectares, which is comparable to four football fields. In addition to the traditional linden, bird cherry, and rowan, the oil workers planted Japanese quince, red-leaved barberry, and spirea.
Rosneft and its subsidiaries organize and actively participate in patriotic events that contribute to fostering civic responsibility. Bashneft’s participation in the campaign symbolizes the relay of memory through generations, aimed at preserving the historical memory of the feat of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War and passing this memory from veterans to the youth.
