A training session on entrepreneurial competencies for students was held at SPbGASU

On May 6, in the space “Growth Point” as part of the University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform, a training “Create Your Startup in Six Steps” was held. The event gave students the opportunity to practically master the key stages of launching a startup — from forming a team to developing a business strategy using modern technologies.

Participants formed teams and went through all stages of business creation. The guys studied methods of developing entrepreneurial thinking and understood the difference between a technological startup and traditional entrepreneurship, analyzed real examples of well-known companies, developed strategies for promoting their ideas using artificial intelligence tools, determined the product’s value, communication methods with clients, calculated costs, and forecasted demand.

More than 60 students from various courses and fields participated in the training.

A training session was conducted by the trainer of the startup studio “Open Innovations”Alexander GlokA – an entrepreneur and leader with 25 years of management experience, a certified trainer of educational programs by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and head of the “SLOVO” speakers’ community in Saint Petersburg. The expert shared with participants proven tools for creating and promoting startups, helped refine ideas taking into account market realities, and answered students’ questions.

At the end of the training, participants presented their projects, which they had been creating throughout the day. The students confidently spoke as speakers, competently presenting the results of their work. The best teams were awarded commemorative prizes. In addition, all participants received certificates of training completion – these will be a useful addition to their portfolio and will help in building their careers.
