Unmanned technologies and modern software solutions for ensuring public order were discussed at the offsite meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia (STC MIA), in which Professor GUE Vladimir Volozhen participated.

At the meeting at the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia named after V.Ya. Kikot, they talked about the future of law enforcement agencies and directions for improving work efficiency.

The head of the flight management department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Grigory Vernichenko, spoke about the possibilities and prospects of using unmanned aerial vehicles of the airplane type to solve law enforcement tasks.

Deputy Head of the Department for Combating the Illegal Use of Information and Communication Technologies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Maksim Tolkachev, proposed to consider the possibility of using software solutions developed by the ministry’s staff in the work process at all levels.

Members of the NTS of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including the professor of the Department of Public Administration and Political Technologies of the State University, a member of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation on Interethnic Relations and the Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Vladimir Volov, took an active part in discussing the reports, asked interesting questions, and made suggestions.

As a result of the meeting, appropriate recommendations were adopted for consideration in future work.
