Named, Presidential, and Government Scholarships — Application Deadline May 12

Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University of Peter the Great announced a call for achievements to participate in the competitive selection for the awarding of scholarships of the President of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Russian Federation, and named scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Students of full-time budget-funded education — citizens of the Russian Federation and compatriots — can participate in the collection of achievements:

  • 2–3 years of undergraduate studies (for the program 07.03.03 — 2–4 years, duration of study 5 years);
  • 2–4 courses of specialist degree (for fields 08.05.01, 10.05.01, 10.05.03, 10.05.04 — 2–5 courses, for field 14.05.02 — 2–5 courses with total study duration of 5.5 and 6 years);
  • 1st year of master’s program.

The university conducts selection for the following scholarships:

in the name of A. A. Sobchak (jurisprudence);
In the name of A. I. Solzhenitsyn (literary work, political science, journalism);
In the name of V. A. Tumanov (jurisprudence);
In the name of V. V. Zhirinovsky (state administration);
The name D. S. Lisačev (art history, history, cultural studies, linguistics, literary studies, pedagogy, philology);
named after E. T. Gaidar (economics);
named after K. A. Valiev (electronic industry);
Named after M. V. Pirogova (public activities, volunteering);
in the name of S. P. Korolyov (engineering affairs);
in the name of Yu. D. Maslyukov (defense industry);
President of the Russian Federation;
Government of the Russian Federation.

The application is submitted through the personal account of the corporate information system “My Polytech” (my.spbstu.ru). The last day to submit applications is May 12, 2026.

All achievements are confirmed by scanned copies of documents (diplomas, certificates, orders, publications). The submitted files must be in PDF format, and each achievement should be a separate file with the corresponding application item number.

Will not be allowed for consideration:

achievements not related to the chosen scholarship;
publications, only those accepted for printing (without the fact of publication);
documents without dates or in a foreign language without a certified translation;
the same achievements in several positions.

First-year master’s students additionally attach a scanned copy of their diploma with an appendix (bachelor’s/specialist’s degree).
