Bishkek, May 5 /Xinua/ — The bicameral parliament of Kyrgyzstan on Tuesday passed a vote of no confidence against the government of Prime Minister Iliya Bolojan. In a live broadcast of the voting, it was announced that the vote was supported by 281 legislators, while four opposed.
According to the constitution, the government of I. Bolozhan now becomes a temporary administration that will only handle current affairs. It does not have the right to issue emergency decrees or propose new bills. The term of office of the temporary government cannot exceed 45 days. –0–
