On May 13, 2026, the Moscow Exchange will begin the calculation and publication of indices for the following digital currencies:
- Solana (MOEXSOL);
- Ripple (MOEXXRP);
- Throne (MOEXTRX);
- Binance Coin (MOEXBNB).
Currently, the Moscow Exchange calculates indices for Bitcoin (MOEXBTC) and Ethereum (MOEXETH). Thus, after the launch of new indicators, the number of cryptocurrency indices calculated by the Moscow Exchange will reach six. In the future, the Moscow Exchangeplans to increase the number of digital currency indicators to ten.
For the calculation of all foreign digital currency indices, data from the following crypto exchanges will be used in the specified proportion:
- Binance – 50%;
- Bybit – 20%;
- OKX – 15%;
- Bitget – 15%.
In the long run, indicators can be used as underlying assets for financial instruments.
Starting from May 13, 2026, the calculation of all digital currency indexes, including the Bitcoin index (MOEXBTC) and Ethereum index (MOEXETH), will be carried out periodically once every 15 seconds throughout the entire trading day, as well as during additional trading sessions within one day. Currently, digital currency indexes are calculated once a day with publication no later than 18:00.
