London, May 3 /Cinehua/ — One person is in critical condition after a shooting in the south of London on Saturday, which resulted in four people being injured. This was reported on Sunday by the British TV channel Sky News.
As reported, the incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday on Coldharbour Lane in the Brixton area. According to available data, the shooting took place from a car. Four victims aged 25, 21, 47, and 70 were taken to the hospital.
According to the TV channel, the 25-year-old man remains in critical condition, while three other men received injuries that do not pose a threat to life.
The police stated that they are trying to determine whether there is a connection between the shooting and the stabbing that occurred about an hour earlier not far from that location. At the moment, no arrests have been made; the law enforcement officers are verifying the identities of the suspects.
The London police department noted that in the coming days there will be an increased police presence in the area, and they appealed to witnesses and all persons who have photo and video recordings from the scene of the incident to provide the relevant information.
