Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev presented state and departmental awards in the field of transport. Among them are the Order of Friendship, the medal of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” II degree, honorary titles “Honored Transport Worker of the Russian Federation” and others.
Workers of the transport complex and related industries participated in the ceremony. The Deputy Prime Minister thanked the awarded labor collectives and organizations for their conscientious work and high professionalism.
“Our meeting takes place on the eve of May 1 – the Holiday of Spring and Labor. For our country, this day has special significance. It symbolizes respect for labor, responsibility, aspiration, and readiness to work for a common result,” noted Vitaliy Saveliev.
Companies and organizations that participated in the preparation of the first International Transport and Logistics Forum were noted separately. This event became a notable industry occurrence and gathered about 6 thousand participants from 82 countries.
