The Bank of Russia on May 4, 2026 issues in circulation commemorative coins made of non-precious metals with a denomination of 10 rubles from the series “Cities of Labor Valor”:
– «Barnaul”,
– «Kamensk-Uralsky»,
– “Kirov,”
– «Kolomna»,
– «Komsomolsk-on-Amur»,
– «Krasnoyarsk»,
– “Magadan”,
– «Penza».
Coins have the shape of a circle with a diameter of 22.0 mm.
There is a raised rim around the circumference on both the obverse and reverse sides of the coin.
Coin edge – interrupted reeding with alternating segments having different numbers of reeds.
On the obverse side of the coin, inscriptions are arranged around the circumference: at the top part — “BANK OF RUSSIA”, at the bottom part — “2026”. On the left and right are images of laurel and oak branches, respectively. In the center are the number “10” and the inscription “RUBLES” below it, indicating the coin’s denomination. Inside the digit “0” there is a security element in the form of the number “10” and the inscription “RUB”, visible from different angles to the plane of the coin. At the bottom is the trademark of the Moscow Mint.
On the reverse side:
– On the “Barnaul” coins (catalog number 5714-0108) there is a bas-relief image of a fragment of the artistic decoration of the stele “City of Labor Valor”; around the circumference are inscriptions, at the top: “BARNAUL”, at the bottom, on a ribbon: “CITY OF LABOR VALOR”;
– On the “Kamensk-Uralsky” coins (catalog number 5714-0109), there is a relief image of a fragment of the artistic design of the stele “City of Labor Valor”; around the circumference, there are inscriptions, at the top: “KAMENSK-URALSKY”, and at the bottom, on a ribbon: “CITY OF LABOR VALOR”;
– On the “Kirov” coins (catalog number 5714-0110) there is a relief image of a fragment of the monument “To the workers of the rear – Kirov residents”; around the circumference there are inscriptions, at the top: “KIROV”, at the bottom, on a ribbon: “HEROISM OF LABOR VALOR”;
– On the “Kolomna” coin (catalog number 5714-0111), there is a relief image of a fragment of the artistic design of the stele “City of Labor Valor”; around the circumference there are inscriptions, at the top: “KOLOMNA”, at the bottom, on the ribbon: “CITY OF LABOR VALOR”;
– On the “Komsomolsk-on-Amur” coin (catalog number 5714-0112) there is a relief image of a fragment of the artistic design of the stele “City of Labor Valor”; around the circumference there are inscriptions, at the top: “KOMSOMOLSK-ON-AMUR”, at the bottom, on the ribbon: “CITY OF LABOR VALOR”;
– On the “Krasnoyarsk” coin (catalog number 5714-0113) there is a relief image of a fragment of the memorial complex dedicated to the 70th Anniversary of Victory – a sculptural composition “Woman and a teenage boy collecting mortar shells”; around the circumference there are inscriptions, at the top: “KRASNOYARSK”, at the bottom, on the ribbon: “GLORY OF THE CITY OF TRUDOVOY”;
– On the “Magadan” coins (catalog number 5714-0114), there is a relief image of a fragment of the artistic design of the stele “City of Labor Valor”; around the circumference, there are inscriptions, at the top: “MAGADAN”, at the bottom, on the ribbon: “CITY OF LABOR VALOR”;
– On the “Penza” coin (catalog number 5714-0115) there is a relief image of a fragment of the artistic design of the stele “City of Labor Valor”; around the circumference there are inscriptions, at the top: “PENZA”, at the bottom, on the ribbon: “CITY OF LABOR VALOR”.
Coin mintage – 1.0 million pieces each.
The coins issued are legal tender for cash payments in the territory of the Russian Federation and are mandatory for acceptance at face value in all types of payments without restrictions.
