Moscow, April 29 /Xin Hua/ — Russian companies are ready and willing to work in the market of the Republic of Congo because there is a stable internal political situation there. This was stated on Wednesday by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin at the beginning of negotiations in the Kremlin with the President of the Republic of Congo Denis Sassou-Nguesso, who arrived in the Russian Federation on a state visit.

“We have good prospects for the development of relations, and in various directions,” noted V. Putin. “Our companies express readiness and desire to work in your country’s market, primarily because you have a stable internal political situation, and this creates good prospects for business”.

“As for the economy, it also includes geological exploration, logistics, energy, agriculture, and some other areas,” the Russian leader clarified.

V. Putin thanked the head of the Republic of Congo for active participation in the Russia-Africa summit and invited him to visit Moscow in the autumn to take part in the 3rd summit.

The President of the Republic of Congo expressed hope for the strengthening and accelerated development of cooperation between the two countries.

“We embarked on this state visit in order to strengthen relations between our countries. They have been developing for many decades. All of this is a bond of solidarity and cooperation, connecting us in all directions: security, defense, economy,” quotes the official Kremlin website the words of D. Sassu-Ngesso. –0–
