Moscow, April 28 /Xinhua/ — The number of people killed in a fire at a construction site in the north of Moscow has risen to three, with seven others injured. This was reported on Tuesday by TASS quoting the press service of the Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Relief /EMERCOM/ of Russia.
“According to the latest data, 31 people have been rescued, 7 injured, 3 dead. Rescue operations continue for people from the second floor of the building,” the statement says.
A fire broke out on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a building under construction. According to various estimates, there may be more than 200 people inside the building. More than 120 people and 30 units of equipment have been involved in extinguishing the fire. All efforts are focused on evacuation and saving people, the agency noted. –0–
