Washington, April 22 /Sin Hua/ — US President Donald Trump has given Tehran three to five days to develop a “mutually agreed counterproposal,” otherwise the ceasefire, extended on April 21, will end. This was reported on Wednesday by the news portal Axios with a reference to an American official.
“This will not be indefinite,” the official’s words are quoted.
It was expected that the delegations of Iran and the USA would hold a second round of peace talks in Pakistan this week. The first round of talks between the two countries took place on April 11-12 in Islamabad and ended without results. –0–
