Tbilisi, April 21 /Sina/ — Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze announced on Tuesday at a briefing at the government administration about a personnel reshuffle in the cabinet of ministers.
As announced by the head of government, the acting head of the State Security Service of Georgia Mamuka Mdinaradze will take the position of State Minister for Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies, and will also be appointed Vice Prime Minister. Interior Minister Gela Geladze has been appointed head of the State Security Service. Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili will become Vice Prime Minister. The post of Interior Minister will be taken by the current head of the Adjara government Sulkhan Tamazashvili.
According to I. Kobazidze, personnel changes are aimed at increasing the efficiency of state institutions and strengthening coordination between departments. –0–
