The admission campaign for the RUDN master’s program starts on June 20. We are reviewing the deadlines, admission rules, and new educational programs for this year.

Key dates of the admission campaign

To not miss anything, it is important for future graduate students to be aware of the deadlines. The acceptance of documents will beginJune 20, 2026.The further schedule depends on the type of financing.

For those entering budget-funded places:

  • completion of document acceptance —10 August;
  • Introductory tests —from August 11 to 18;
  • publication of competitive lists —no later than August 20;
  • deadline for submitting consent for enrollment —until 12:00 August 24
  • orders about enrollment are published25 August.

For applicants to paid places:

  • completion of document acceptance —13 August
  • Introductory tests —From June 21 to August 19
  • publication of competitive lists —no later than August 21
  • contract conclusion and payment —until 12:00 on August 26
  • orders about enrollment are published29 August.

How to submit documents

You can submit documents with one ofthree convenient methods

  • Through the “Gosuslugi” portal(remotely).
  • In person at the university admissions office.
  • Russian Post(for non-resident applicants).

Required document package:

  • identity document (passport);
  • document about education with attachment;
  • SINILS (if available);
  • documents confirming individual achievements (if available).

Advantages for the strongest

RUDN encourages applicants with high achievements. Individual achievements can bring up to 100 points to the entrance examination results (provided the exams are successfully passed — a minimum of 50 points).

How to get maximum points

Olympiads:

  • “I am a professional”: medals will be credited to the medalist100 points, to the winner —50 points, the prize-winner —30 points;
  • Universiade RUDN-ON: the winner will receive100 points, prize winner 1;50 points
  • International Olympiad on Financial Security: the winner will be credited100 points, the prize-winner —50 points.

Academic bonus:

  • Bachelor’s degree with honors (red diploma) —+20 points.
  • Presence of publications in the Scopus journal — up to+15 pointsfor the article. Scientific articles and patents/certificates for inventions are only considered when applying for master’s programs, where as an entrance test the “Interdisciplinary Exam” is established.
  • Named scholarships —+10 points.

Social activity:Â

  • Volunteer activity (from 100 verified hours on dobro.ru) —+5 points.

New master’s programs

This year, RUDN is launching several programs that respond to the demands of the modern labor market.

“Event management, organization of congress and cultural-mass events” (Institute of Foreign Languages)

A program for those who want to create world-class events. Students study the full cycle of event organization: from concept development and budgeting to management of technical equipment and security. Graduates become indispensable event directors, producers of special projects, and conference organizers in agencies and corporations.

“Pedagogy, psychology, and methodology of teaching foreign languages” (Institute of Foreign Languages)

The program trains a new generation of linguistics teachers. Special emphasis is placed on digital educational resources, intercultural communication, and modern teaching methodologies. This is an excellent choice for those who want to work in a leading language school, university, or develop their own educational products.

“Global Pedagogy” (Digital Master’s Program, Institute of Russian Language)

A unique format for those who want to build a career in international education. The program is focused on comparing educational systems of different countries, managing international projects, and using artificial intelligence in pedagogy. This is a digital master’s program: 50% of the disciplines are studied online, while all the advantages of in-person education are preserved (postponement from the army and scholarships).

“E-commerce — electronic commerce” (Higher School of Management)

Online program for future digital market leaders. Students learn to create online stores from scratch, work with marketplaces, analyze big data, and manage teams. Classes will be held in the evening to allow combining studies with work. Graduates will be able to apply for middle specialist positions with a salary starting from 130,000 rubles.

“Clinical Embryology” (Medical Institute)

One of the rarest and most prestigious specialties. The program trains embryologists — key specialists in the field of assisted reproductive technologies (ART). Students master working with gametes and embryos, cryopreservation, and preimplantation genetic diagnostics. Practice takes place at a leading clinic in Moscow and at the RUDN scientific center. Directions that the university also recommends applicants pay attention to are promising programs of the engineering academy and the institute of foreign languages.

“Energy Engineering” (Engineering Academy)

In the context of the dynamic development of the energy sector, this profession becomes a priority. Students learn to design and operate power machines for nuclear, thermal, and hydroelectric power plants, as well as for aviation and the fleet. Graduates are in demand at large industrial enterprises and in research organizations.

“Standardization and Metrology” (Engineering Academy)

A standardization engineer is a quality expert who is indispensable in any production. The program is practice-oriented: students undergo internships at Roskachestvo, Rostest-Moscow, and large food industry enterprises. Graduates work in certification bodies, testing laboratories, and international companies. “Psycho-pedagogical education” (Institute of Foreign Languages) The program trains versatile specialists capable of working not only in education but also in business. Students study clinical psychology, conflictology, and family psychology.Graduates work as HR managers in large corporations, as practicing consultants, and as heads of educational projects. The final certification is conducted in English.
