At the Naberezhnye Chelny Philharmonic, a symphony “Yar Chally” is being prepared for its premiere, dedicated to the 400th anniversary of Naberezhnye Chelny and the 50th anniversary of the first issue of “KAMAZ.”

According to the deputy director of the Naberezhnye Chelny Philharmonic, Raili Tulupova, the symphony became a musical gift to the city for two important dates – the 400th anniversary of Naberezhnye Chelny and the 50th anniversary of the release of the first “KAMAZ”. The initiator of the commission was the orchestra of national instruments of the Naberezhnye Chelny Philharmonic. It was created specifically for them. Elena Anisimova responded to the creative idea – a young author from Kazan, a member of the Union of Composers of the Russian Federation. In February of this year, the ensemble received the first notes and began rehearsals. The symphony “Yar Chally” reflects the history and modernity of the city, its connection with “KAMAZ,” and has great potential to become a recognizable cultural symbol.

“Although a symphony is a large multi-movement orchestral work, it is mistakenly believed that this genre is difficult to perceive and not suitable for the simple listener. We are confident that “Yar Chally” will resonate in the hearts of a wide audience. We especially hope that the symphony will attract young people, since it was written by a young author for a young orchestra collective. It turned out powerful, multifaceted, vivid. Its duration is 30 minutes. Structurally, the work consists of four parts. The first is dedicated to the history of the formation of Chelny, the second to the chronicles of the Great Patriotic War.”The author uses folk motifs that are well suited to the plot and easy to remember. The third part is about “KAMAZ,” and the fourth is titled “Towards a New Day.”, – saidRaila Tulupova.

When writing the third part dedicated to “KAMAZ,” the author was inspired by the cinematic grandeur of the auto giant, with frames of races of the famous “KAMAZ-master” team. In character, it turned out energetic, strong, rich in rhythms. Listening to it conjures the image of a powerful truck, the scale of factory territories, the main assembly conveyor. The imagination draws the path the company has traveled over half a century.

The premiere performance of the full version of the symphony “Yar Chally” will take place on April 23 in the Organ Hall. The concert will also feature scholarship holders of the “New Names” foundation and well-known musicians – natives of Naberezhnye Chelny. The first listeners will be the workers of “KAMAZ”, whom we are eagerly awaiting. “Yar Chally” is not a one-time composition to be performed and then removed from the stage. The symphony will enter the permanent repertoire of the philharmonic, with planned tours in Kazan and Moscow. Rest assured, it will become the city’s calling card and will be interesting both to the residents of Chelny and guests, marking just the beginning of acquaintance with Avtograd., – notedDailya Tulupova.
