The airline Red Wings has opened a direct air route between Moscow and Israel.

The first flight on the Russian Tu-214 airliner arrived at Ben Gurion International Airport on Friday evening.

The airline is starting regular flights to Israel. In the summer season of 2026, Red Wings will operate flights to Tel Aviv from three Russian cities – Moscow, Sochi, and Mineralnye Vody. The airline uses Russian SSJ-100 aircraft on southern routes.

Flights from Sochi start today, April 18, at 17:00. Flights from the “summer capital” of Russia will be operated three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The flight duration is 2 hours 50 minutes.

Trips from Mineralnye Vody are scheduled from April 19. Until the end of May, flights will be operated only on Sundays, from June to October – on Thursdays and Sundays. The travel time to the Mediterranean Sea will be 3 hours 25 minutes.
