An All-Russian scientific conference “Week of Science of the Engineering and Construction Institute 2026” was held at SPbPU. The event brought together students, postgraduates, teachers, representatives of scientific organizations and industrial partners to discuss current issues of engineering surveys, design, construction, technological safety, as well as reconstruction and restoration of buildings and structures.
More than 1200 people participated in the conference, including representatives of 27 industrial partners of the Engineering and Construction Institute of SPbPU, leading Russian and foreign universities and scientific organizations, the Union of Restorers of St. Petersburg, as well as representatives of government authorities.
The conference program included 17 sectional meetings, organized by four leading schools of ISI SPbPU. Participants presented more than 590 oral and poster reports.
The section covered issues of hydraulics and hydrotechnical construction, urban construction and operation of buildings, industrial ecology, energy efficiency of buildings and structures, design of roads, bridges and transport tunnels, calculation of building structures, technologies and organization of construction, digital construction and geoinformation modeling, protection in emergency situations, occupational safety, fire and industrial safety, risk management, prospects of modern urban planning, architectural identity of the urban environment, industrial andgraphic design, visual communications, as well as the restoration of architectural heritage using modern materials and technologies.
At the conference, two cooperation agreements were signed: with the Association of developers, manufacturers, and suppliers of individual protection equipment (Association “SIZ”), and with the official distributor and manufacturer of high-tech building materials for the construction sector and oil and gas complexes, the group of companies “Nevsky Alliance”.
