London, April 18 /Sin Hua/ — The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations Coordination Center (UKMTO) reported on Saturday that two military boats of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran fired on a tanker approximately 20 nautical miles northeast of Oman.
According to the report, the boats approached the tanker without establishing communication in the VHF range, and then opened fire. The vessel and its crew are focused on safety.
