Islamabad, April 18 /Xinhua/ — Chief of the Pakistan Armed Forces General Asim Munir, during negotiations with the Iranian leadership, emphasized the necessity of dialogue, de-escalation, and peaceful resolution of unresolved issues through continuous diplomatic interaction. This is stated in a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Armed Forces, published on Saturday.
It is reported that A. Munir, having completed a three-day official visit to Iran, called for the establishment of lasting peace in the region.
