Russia plans to create at least 100 industrial parks and industrial zones by 2030 — Minister of Industry and Trade

Moscow, April 16 /Sin Hua/ — At least 100 new industrial parks and industrial zones are expected to be created in Russia. This was announced on Thursday by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Anton Alikhanov.

As reported on the website of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, at the presentation of the new edition of the annual review “Industrial Parks and SEZs /Special Economic Zones/ of Russia — 2026,” A. Alijanov stated that currently more than 80% of the total area of parks, exceeding 25 million square meters, is occupied in the country. Nearly 6,000 companies manufacture products on these sites, with a volume expected to reach about 5 trillion rubles (around 65.7 billion USD) by 2025.

According to a review published by the Association of Industrial Parks of Russia, the number of active industrial parks in the country increased more than fourfold from 2015 to 2025 and reached 313. Another 185 are in the process of being created. –0–
