Pyongyang, April 15 /Xinhua/ — The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) stated that the recently published Japanese “Blue Book” on diplomacy represents a “trap aimed at embellishing its extremely militaristic actions.”

“Whenever possible, Japan resorts to rhetoric about the exercise of the right to self-defense with neighboring countries,” the official Central Telegraph Agency of Korea (CTAK) reported on Wednesday, citing a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs published earlier in the day.

As stated in the document, Japan’s actions are aimed at undermining regional security while pursuing the legal and institutional ambitions of this military state to expand its own capabilities for aggressive attacks.

The statement also notes that Japan’s remarks regarding DPRK measures to strengthen its defense capabilities constitute a “serious provocation infringing on sovereign rights, security interests, and the right to development” of the country. –0–
