Winners of the All-Russian School Olympiad in Labor Were Awarded at RUDN

From April 5 to 11, the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren in labor (technology) took place in RUDN — one of the key intellectual competitions in the country.

This year the final united308participants from79Among the regions of Russia that confirmed high interest in engineering and technological education among schoolchildren. The Olympiad was held at RUDN for the second time — the university hosted the final for the first time in 2024 and traditionally became a space for demonstrating not only knowledge but also applied skills.

Participants demonstrated their knowledge and skills within the frameworktwo profiles — “Technics, technology and technical creativity” and “Home culture, design and technology”.

Duringtheoretical tourSchoolchildren solved specialized tasks aimed at testing engineering thinking, understanding of modern technologies, material science, and basics of design.

Practical tourallowed participants to apply their knowledge. Depending on the chosen profile, the finalists completed complex tasks: from development and assembly of technical solutions to the creation of design and technological projects. The participants demonstrated a high level of training, creativity, and the ability to work with modern equipment and materials.

A special place in the program was occupiedwork progress,on which the finalists presented the results of their activities to the expert jury. This became an important evaluation stage: not only technical implementation was considered, but also the originality of the idea, the quality of execution, as well as the ability to present their project in a reasoned manner. The display of works turned into a real exhibition of engineering and design solutions, reflecting current trends in the fields of technology and applied creativity.

“The most memorable moment was the project defense. I presented to the jury the solutions that had been developed throughout the entire year, starting from the final stage last year. It was truly exciting: it was necessary to present the information in such a way that the jury would see the innovations embedded in the project, understand that the project was not just another solution, but something new and interesting. After such a lot of work, accumulated fatigue and misunderstanding predominated, which indeed happened. But, I think, soon there will be an awareness: the eleventh grade is completed — bright and with results.” —Sergey Devyataev (Moscow), the absolute winner of the All-Russian Schoolchildren Olympiad in labor (technology) in the profile “Technique, technology and technical creativity.”

“Probably, the most difficult part was creating a truly strong project. It’s a very extensive job: you need to accomplish a lot and foresee everything. My project was a capsule collection of evening dresses, consisting of three models that can be combined with each other. To the future participants of the competition, I wish you never give up. There is always a chance: you can win or at least be among the prize-winners,” —Maria Bibartseva (Moscow Region), the absolute winner of the All-Russian Schoolchildren Olympiad in labor (technology) in the profile “Home Culture, Design, and Technology”.

In total, based on the results of the intense competitive program, the following were determined26 winners and 121 prizewinners, demonstrating outstanding results and a high level of preparation. Holding the Olympiad became possible with the support of leading partners:Sber, Ozon, VK Education, “Engineer of the Atmosphere”, VK Teleprompter and the GK “Applied Robotics” (Flowtech).

Became the official partner of the OlympicsOzon, who gave the winners – eleventh graders – a certificate for receiving a scholarship. The scholarship program provides for monthly payments of 15,000 rubles from October 2026 to July 2027. Sberbank gave the winners smart nightlights.
