Moscow, 2026 — One of the most anticipated events of the spring took place in the capital — the solemn Parade of Trams, dedicated to the 127th anniversary of the Moscow tram. More than 200 thousand residents and guests of the city attended the celebration.

For the first time, a column of historical technology followed a new route — from Kursky railway station to Sergiy Radonezhsky Street. Along the entire way, Muscovites and tourists encountered wagons of various eras, greeting the parade participants.

The central venue of the celebration was a large-scale open-air exhibition of vintage transport. Visitors were presented with more than 50 unique exhibits, including 16 trams of various generations and about 40 vintage cars.

A rich cultural program has been prepared for guests: musical performances, master classes, thematic photo zones, and refreshments.

“We held the 21st edition of the Tram Parade. This type of transport remains a true symbol of our city, loved by Muscovites of all generations. More than 200 thousand residents and guests of the capital attended our celebration, which has already become a good tradition. We will continue to develop the tram network further, preserve history, and implement the most modern technologies, as instructed by the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin,” noted the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry Maxim Liksutov.

The Moscow Department of Transport emphasized that the development of tram infrastructure and the preservation of historical heritage remain important directions of the capital’s transport complex work.
